WELCOME TO TEAM AGOGE
OUR MISSION
At Team Agoge, we believe wrestling is more than just a sport—it's a path to building great people. As a non-profit youth wrestling club for PreK-8th graders in the greater Lincoln, Nebraska area, our mission is to instill a love for the sport while teaching crucial life skills.

Through dedicated practices and competitions, we guide our athletes to develop discipline, respect, self-control, and a strong work ethic. They learn how to handle both victory and defeat with grace and to care for their teammates.

Our goal is simple: to use the timeless sport of wrestling to help young athletes become not only better competitors but also better people, both on and off the mat.
WHAT IS AGOGE?
The name Agoge (A-GO-GEE) is inspired by the ancient Spartan training program of the same name. In ancient Sparta, the Agoge was a rigorous system of education and military training that was mandatory for all male citizens. It was designed to build not only elite warriors but also disciplined and virtuous citizens.
Team Agoge embraces this philosophy by using wrestling as the medium to teach the same core principles: discipline, toughness, respect, and a strong work ethic. Just as the Spartan Agoge forged men of character, our club aims to forge better people through the challenges and lessons of wrestling.

With their extensive knowledge and experience in wrestling, they are dedicated mentors who truly care about developing your athletes' character. Registration Fees
May - Sept (Off-season Session): $25 per month or $100 for all 5 months
Oct - Dec (Pre-season Session): $140 Prior to October 5
$170 After October 5
**Additional wrestler from the same family: $90
Jan - March (Regular Season): $199 Prior to December 20
$240 After December 20 ​
**Additional wrestler from the same family: $150
